We are now in the week before AIMS testing. This week we will get around to the chapter 7 test in Math. The students will be working on a new podcast for this week. I would like to throw a party next Friday for the students after the AIMS testing asking that they bring in Healthy snacks to share with their class mates! We are also currently in a competition with the 4th and 5th grade classes to see who can read the most books. This is all apart of the Bookman's challenge that goes toward buying some new bookcases in the Library. Looking forward to a great week!

The third quarter of the year is rapidly comming to its end. We have about 3 weeks left until Spring Break and I can feel the excitement in the air. We are working feverishly on our musical that is also just around the conrner. The students are flowing with ideas about how we should be using technology in and out of the classroom. We have a visit from Inspector West from the Northwest Fire department this week as well talking about bike safety. Chapter 6 in Math is just about complete, we are taking the test this week.
Update: Week of February 4th-8th, 2008
We are moving right along this quarter with Rodeo days comming up very soon. The students have become very passionate about pocasting and making sure that they get heard on important issues. This weeks podcast deals with some of the problems that we are having here on campus. Not only problems, but solutions as well. Wednesday we are going to Sabino Canyon with hopefuly some beautiful weather over head. This is the last week for Science Fair projects, it has been a long process but I am seeing some great results across the board. Next week will be the judging process.
